Suk Eng Pang is an expert breeder of the endemic super red arowana fish native to Ketungau, Kalimantan since 1970.
He is a master and expert who has been handling arowana fish for decades. He also often provides education through Vlogs and YouTube.
Here are some tips for caring for Arowana fish
- Arowana fish can be spawned in an aquarium, but this method is not recommended because Arowana fish are actually less comfortable, it is better to use a larger pond, for example keeping them in a concrete pond measuring 5 × 5 square meters.
- The food that is often given to parent arowanas is frozen adult frogs.
- The mating season for arowana fish is during the rainy season. Arowana chicks can be taken when harvesting. The chicks are taken from the father and then the growers can be kept in an aquarium.
- Sunlight is preferred for keeping arowana fish as a scale color treatment
